Keeping with the theme of New & Old, there will be two categories:
Old | handguns manufactured before 1980
New | handguns manufactured after 1980
Firearms will be provided to competitors that do not bring their own.
Each contestant will shoot a slow-fire and rapid-fire round. The Best Overall Sharpshooter from each category will win a new Desert Eagle pistol. The Most Historical weapon from each category will win a $100 cash prize.
RULES:
All registration forms are due July 3, 2013 (next Wednesday). If you intend to use your own firearm, it must be dropped off at the shooting range on the same day you register. Firearms will be securely stored at the shooting range throughout the duration of the fair. Any contestant found to be in possession of an unregistered firearm will be disqualified.
All weapons must be handguns (not rifles, shotguns, etc.) that are either semi-automatic pistols or revolvers. All calibers are allowed.
