Carnival Rides

A huge thanks to Steventon Carnival for providing the rides at this year's fair.

So far, the line up includes:

  • The Ferris Wheel | Without a doubt, this is the star of the show on the carnival midway. Standing at a towering height of 60', the wheel features twelve gondolas, with a capacity of four people each. After dusk, the wheel lights up in a spectacular light show.
  • Grand Carousel | The oldest ride at the fair! Hand-carved wooden horses gallop around the painted center panels, which have been preserved from the original Steventon Carnival of the 1960's.
  • Midway Bumper Cars | Over ten cars and a 40' ring for you to bump and crash your heart away.
  • The Moffat | Shoot a 100' straight up into the air before free-falling back down again. Previously called the Big Drop, it was renamed to "The Moffat" after the Sherlock episode "Reichenbach Falls" and the Doctor Who episode "The Angels Take Manhattan."
  • Also... The Hurricane, Music Express, The Pendulum, Teacups, Zeus' Fury, Null Gravity, The Tilt-A-Whirl, Palace Fun House, and several games and challenges along the midway.
